Starchild Music Productions and Artisan Guitar Works is a great new Studio/Storefront where you can go to receive expert guitar instruction from Jon, his son Brandon, or one of several other new teachers. It is  the best (and ONLY!) place in town to get your axe repaired or set-up by Floyd. You will  find  Elixir Strings, a great selection of new and used guitars & amps, pics, guitar accessories, custom ”bling”, etc.

The Diabetes Expo was a HUGE success! We would like to thank our fans for coming, the crowd for welcoming us, our friends and families for their support and help, and the ADA for hosting this amazing event!

We extend personal thanks to Ben Sanders, Beverly Bartell, Tara Demke, Marshall Emsley, Laura Landon, Bekki Williams, Julie Walkingshaw, Jonelle Dansie, and countless others who were there to help in so many ways.

An amazing thing happened at the Expo. We were greeted by several people who through their own trials and life experiences have come to a place in life where they live and love NOW. They thanked us with tears in their eyes for what our music has done for them. They reminded us just why we do this… 

The ability to write music, sing, perform, speak with passion or share in another person’s joy, love, or pain is a gift. It is a gift from a higher power and one that cannot be taken lightly or advantage of. We  are grateful for the opportunities we have to help others as we  share our passion for music and life with you.

 IN THE NEWS:
The Jon Dansie Band CD has been on the play list on Internet Radio.
“She’s My Addiction” made the #1 spot on the Top 100 Requests list. All nine songs on the CD have been in the top 20 and have remained there steadily. 

We have been featured on the radio stations Rock 99 in Idaho and KBER in SLC. We were interviewed by Fox 13; performing live on their Good Day Utah program, and have appeared several times on Park City TV. 

We participated in the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.

We have a passion for music. Our collective years of musical experience provide us with a background we believe in. Music is a way of life for us.

We have performed at many events and venues throughout Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada.

We have enjoyed playing at many private gatherings, and have headlined many corporate events for Midvale, Sandy, Salt Lake, South Jordan, St. George, and Provo cities.

LOOKING FORWARD:

The Jon Dansie Band has taken time off from touring to work on a new CD.

We have been well supported in our creative efforts while collaborating with Annex Studios. We have released our EP and expect to release the new full-length CD soon.

A European tour is in the works.

We are currently scheduling private parties, concerts, festivals, and events.

We have been working professionally as a band to reach the next level in the music and recording industry.
