Jon’s Bio
Jon has been playing guitar since 1970. His influences include Glen Campbell, Ted Nugent, Eric Clapton, Doug Aldrich, Paul Stanley, and his friends from Styx, Tommy Shaw and James “JY” Young, and the list goes on…
Jon composes all of his own music. He loves to write and perform everything from sweet melodic ballads, to heart pounding blues, to shredding searing leads on his guitar.
The Jon Dansie Band™ LLC has a vast collection of songs and continually works together to create new music.
Music is not only a passion for Jon; it is a way of life. He owns and operates Starchild Music Productions in Sandy, UT. There, he shares his love for all things guitar. He teaches his craft to any willing to learn and has been twice nominated as Best of State for his ability to reach and teach guitar students of all ages and abilities. He will also repair and care for your stringed instruments as if they were his own. He is a highly skilled luthier and service tech.
He believes that through music you can accomplish anything.
