December 29th, 2009 by jon | 1 Comment »Can you believe the year is almost over?! Thanks to everyone for your support and suggestions as we have grown over the last year. We are proud of the things we have accomplished this year and anticipate that 2010 will be even better!
During this last year we became the #1 Blues Band in Utah and had some of our favorite songs make it onto iTunes. We added some new members to our line-up; Michael Gustafson on drums and Ben Jamin on rhythm guitar. We are continuing with writing and recording at our favorite studios, Annex Recording. Jon and Floyd opened a “Brick and Mortar” storefront in Union Square in Sandy, UT to encourage others to learn to play guitar and expand their love for music and all things guitar.
We also enjoyed supporting some of our favorite charities as well as some new causes that are now near and dear to our hearts. We want to thank everyone involved with The American Diabetes Association, The Utah Board of Realtors and The Christmas Box House, and the Hydrocephalus Association. Being able to lend our name and talent to such worthy causes is wonderful! We love being able to help.
The week we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! On Saturday, September 26th we are doing TWO SHOWS. This will be a week of planning, practice, packing, and PREP for one huge day at weeks end.
We want to thank our faithful roadies for all of their hard work leading up to, and on, the day of events. There is no way a production like this can take place without good friends and a ton of hard work.
Shawn Taylor of Taylor Audio will be providing us with the stage and sound support this year at The ADA StepOut Walk as well as at The Hydrocephalus Association’s Walk. We would like to thank him for his expertise and assistance.
Please join us at Sugarhouse Park in SLC @ 8:30 AM as we welcome all of the walkers for the Hydrocephalus Walk and then later at Hogle Zoo @ 10:30 – 12:00 as we celebrate with the StepOut walkers.

There are two new songs (rough versions) up on our ReverbNation tune widget; Do You Miss Me and Change the Rules. Our lives, like the rest of yours, are always interesting! Our store has been busy and full of friends both old and new. The summer months bring vacations and holidays and along with that–holes in Jon’s teaching schedule. Wouldn’t YOU like to be one of the lucky ones to be able to fill one of these rare openings?
